REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: PAVING

The Town of Woodstock is seeking proposals from qualified, interested companies to cold plane and asphalt inlay on Depot Street and reclaim and pave Gordon Farm Road in Woodstock, New Hampshire.
DEPOT STREET: 20’ W x 625’ L (Approx: 1,400SY):
Scope of work: cold plane and inlay with new asphalt. The intent is to maintain a consistent road width of 20’
Cold plane existing asphalt to a depth of 1.5” – 2.0” deep
Adjust structures
Trim/Cold plane around structure frames
Trim/Cold plane end joints
Sweep and clean the road prior to paving
Supply and install asphalt emulsion at a rate of .04 gal/sy
Supply & install machine-paved asphalt inlay at 1.5-in compacted
Maintenance of Traffic – Flaggers & Signage
GORDON FARM ROAD: 18’ W x 1,200’ L (Approx: 2,400SY):
Scope of work: reclaim, fine grade, asphalt base, and wear course. The intent is to maintain a consistent road width of 18’
Reclaim existing asphalt
Fine grade & compaction
Supply & install ¾” asphalt base course @ 2 ½” thick compacted
Supply & install ½” asphalt wear course @ 1 ½” thick compacted
Maintenance of Traffic – Flaggers & Signage
Submit proposals to the Select Board’s Office
